De bergdorpen zelf — Innsbruck, Hallstatt, Luzern, Salzburg — zijn perfect voor een weekend: een treinreis van de dichtstbijzijnde internationale luchthaven, een loopbare binnenstad, en een kabelbaan naar een uitzichtpunt op 2000m tegen zaterdagmiddag. Deze serie biedt je vijf Alpen-stadsbases (Oostenrijk + Zwitserland + een Beierse crossover), elk 48-60 uur, allemaal bereikbaar met ÖBB of SBB treinen, allemaal te slapen in hotels in de oude stad onder de €120/nacht als je 3 weken van tevoren boekt.
