About Wanderpath

Curated travel routes, without the guesswork.

Wanderpath is a small independent platform for buying and following authored travel routes — with maps, waypoints, budgets, photos and practical tips. Instead of piecing together fifty tabs and a spreadsheet, you get one clear itinerary from someone who has actually driven, hiked or cycled it.

Why Wanderpath exists

Most travel content today is either generic listicles or paywalled magazine writing. Neither tells you where the next fuel stop is, whether the campsite really has drinking water, or how much a week on Portugal’s Atlantic coast actually costs. Wanderpath fills that gap with routes that are opinionated, testable and honest.

What we focus on right now

The first wave is campervan and road-trip routes across Europe. Norway’s fjords, the Dolomites, Iceland’s Ring Road, the Scottish NC500, the Alpine passes — routes tested by travellers who actually own or rent camper vans. We’re adding walking pilgrimages (Camino variants, Alta Via, Tour du Mont Blanc) and city weekends over the coming months.

How it works

  • Every route comes with a GPX file, a printable PDF, and access to the interactive online view.
  • Free routes exist alongside paid ones — pick what fits.
  • Purchases go through Stripe. No subscriptions, no ads, no upsells inside routes.
  • All content is translated into 8 languages: EN, DE, ES, FR, IT, NL, RU, UK.

Who’s behind it

Wanderpath is built by Vitalii Shevliakov in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. Solo founder, software background, avid road-tripper. Registered as a sole proprietorship (ZZP), KvK 42011587. If you want to reach out — support@wanderpath.co is where it lands.

What’s coming

Guided tours (a route + fixed dates + a guide), an author programme so trusted travellers can publish their own routes, a mobile app for offline navigation, and expansion beyond Europe. All in that order — we ship one thing at a time.
